For fifteen years, autism & neurodiversity policy has promised system chang

Why previous strategies failed. Why this Collective is different.

Over the past fifteen years, the UK has produced more autism and neurodiversity strategies than measurable progress... The 2009 Autism Act, 2014 Care Act, Think Autism, and the 2021-26 National Strategy all carried good intent, but lacked consistent follow-through, joined-up delivery, or accountability for outcomes. Waiting times rose, employment rates stagnated, and trust eroded. By 2023–25, parliamentary inquiries confirmed:
'We do not need another strategy. We need implementation."

The Neurodiversity Collective exists to turn inquiry into implementation. We operate not as another think-tank, but as a practical reform engine: linking evidence, policy, and delivery through partnership.
Our guiding mission: To build a unified framework for neuro-inclusive reform, one that connects national strategy, local delivery, and measurable social impact.

Join us in September 2026, for the first national conference designed to unite government, systems, and sector partners under a shared accountability framework. Move beyond ‘awareness’ into applied change.
